Statement of Faith

At Hill of Prayer Ministries, our faith is firmly rooted in the Word of God and guided by the Holy Spirit. Our beliefs define who we are as a ministry and reflect our commitment to glorify God, advance His kingdom, and live according to His truth.

 We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, and it serves as the ultimate authority for faith, doctrine, and daily life.

• “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

  We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• The Father is the creator of all things and sustains the universe by His power.
• The Son, Jesus Christ, is the Savior of the world, fully God and fully man, who died for our sins and rose again to reconcile us to the Father.
• The Holy Spirit indwells believers, empowering them for holy living and service.
• “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)

  We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only way to salvation. Through His death on the cross and resurrection, He offers forgiveness of sins and eternal life to all who believe in Him.

• “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6)

 We believe that salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works but given freely to those who believe and confess Him as Lord.

• “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)

 We believe in the active presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers, enabling them to live in righteousness, fulfill their God-given purpose, and witness to the world.

• “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses.” (Acts 1:8)

  We believe that the church is the body of Christ, called to worship, disciple, serve, and spread the gospel.

• “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” (1 Corinthians 12:27)

We believe in the power of prayer to align us with God’s will, bring transformation, and release His blessings over individuals and communities.

• “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)

 We believe in the sacraments of baptism as an outward sign of faith in Christ and communion as a remembrance of His sacrifice for our salvation.

• “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
• “Do this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19)

  We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, when He will return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead and establish His eternal kingdom.

• “Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him.” (Revelation 1:7)

   We believe in the power of the gospel to transform lives, renew minds, and bring healing and restoration to individuals, families, and communities.

• “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)
